The concept for the formation of the Propeller Club of the United States was conceived in 1922. The Propeller
Club, Port of New York was organized on January 24, 1923. On November 7, 1927, The Propeller Club of the
United States as a national organization was formed with individual member clubs designated as “Ports.”
- To promote waterborne commerce and the Marine industry generally in all its segments.
- To maintain a continuing program of public relations, education and goodwill with the shipping community and public in general.
- To collaborate with other organizations whose members are dedicated to the promotion of the best interest of American maritime shipping and allied industries.
- To promote a spirit of friendship and common purpose among persons engaged in the American Merchant Marine.
Dues: Annual Membership Dues* $105.00

*Annual dues are based on membership anniversary date.
Reduced rate for significant others of club members are offered for $55.

Upon receipt of application and fees, your application will go to Board for approval. Upon acceptance, you will receive confirmation.
